Book of the Month – October 2015

Oct 12, 2015 | Tony Byrne's View

October is a rare month – rare because we have never before recommended novels in two consecutive months. This month’s book, The Humans by Matt Haig, is an interesting title. It is a novel that is really a commentary on the state of human life. When you read it you enjoy the story, but that is not the author’s intent. Haig is more interested in getting you to look at life from an outsider’s point of view. The book is easy to read and will make you laugh out loud in places, but at the same time it has important points to make. This book is well worth your time.
