A smart way to save money on your energy bills
I was chatting to my son recently at a barbecue around my house when he told me about Look After My Bills. He told me that this service saves money on energy bills. I thought to myself, well why not simply use Uswitch to get cheaper energy? Uswitch is quick and easy to use, but Look After My Bills takes the service a stage further. Why is this?
Well, with Uswitch you go online and change your energy provider from time to time and you have to work out for yourself which companies offer a good service. Whereas with Look After My Bills the company automatically switches you when it finds a supplier that can save you at least £50 and it only uses companies that offer good customer service. What’s more, the service is free.
So how is the service free?
Look After My Bills keep the service free for you by taking a commission from the energy companies that they switch you to. Unlike price comparison sites, this is the same amount whichever the energy company and they only switch you to companies they trust, who have good customer service.
There are companies who want to pay Look After My Bills but they won’t switch you to. If companies don’t provide good customer service then it’s not worth few extra pounds to switch you to them. That’s how they keep the service free for you.
Will they always get you the best deal?
Their aim is to keep you on a fair deal forever.
That may not mean the very cheapest, that’s because Look After My Bills want to make sure they work with suppliers who value their customers and are committed to improving their customer service.
In order to keep service free, Look After My Bills only switch you to suppliers who will pay them a commission.
Look After My Bills always want to make sure it’s worthwhile for you to switch suppliers, that’s why they will only switch you if they can save you at least £50. Look After My Bills isn’t a comparison site – they do auto-switching!
How will you know when switched?
You’ll get an email from Look After My Bills every time they are preparing to switch you. It will tell you who your new supplier is and the amount you pay for your electricity and gas based on what you’ve told them.
You should also get an email or letter from your new energy supplier.
Can you opt-out at any time?
You can always cancel the Look After My Bills service whenever you want. If you don’t like the supplier they switch you to, then you will have a 14 day cooling off period with them to cancel the switch.
